What Cancer Taught Me...

Cancer taught me that the small things really are the big things.

For example, today this sweet boy starts his final semester of his undergrad program at Truman State University.

It’s his last first day at college.

It’s a day of unknowns... how will classes go? Will he get good professors? Will he get into that grad program he’s applying to?

But above all, it is all a gift.

Soak today up. Celebrate whatever STEP you’re taking today toward reaching your goals. And if you have a minute, say a prayer of thanksgiving for Matt’s continued health and for the semester ahead. And for his sweet dog Tillie who brings him so much joy. ❤️ (And yes, she is wearing a Chiefs bandana!)
