About Me
For years, I imagined what it would look like to pursue my passion of writing and speaking. But instead of pursuing it, I allowed the enemy to convince me that I wasn’t enough, not for my kids, my husband and even for myself. Then February of 2017 rolled around and with it came the most challenging season of my life, and yet perhaps the most definitive. It was then my 18-year-old son, Matt, went from being a vibrant and healthy college student to a leukemic fighting for his life.
Matt’s battle with cancer changed me. Actually, God changed me through it. He showed me that He is willing and able to take my seemingly insignificant insights of this life and use them to help women connect more meaningfully to other women, to God and to the version of themselves that God redeemed through Jesus.
He reminded me of who I am and that He has woven the details of my life’s story to help me connect with women like you. I am transparent in sharing my struggles of faith, body image, and making peace with my past and Matt's illness. My goal is that we can be real with one another and recognize our brokenness so that we can embrace our true value and identity in who God made us to be.
The world tells us every day that we are not enough, leaving us searching for greater resolve to "be better." My prayer is that God will use this ministry to remind us that we beautifully and wonderfully made and that His finished work on the Cross makes us whole.
