Matt Comes Home!
At 11:30 today, the clouds parted and the sun began to shine. Right about that time, Matthew May walked out of the front doors at KUMC- the same doors we had to leave him at 15 days earlier.
The staff at KU joined us in our celebration as we yelled and clapped and hugged. It was a moment I want to remember forever. I wish each of you could have been there with us to see it.
But you are with us in spirit and we thank you for EVERYTHING you are doing to bless us. God is answering our prayers. Matt is tolerating this new chemo famously and is so happy to be home and reunited with us all - even Tillie was here waiting for him ❤️.
